祖恩原本不太喜欢华文，但在上了糖果树后，他对华语产生了浓厚的兴趣，成绩也突飞猛进。我非常感谢老师们耐心地教导，让祖恩逐渐喜欢上华文。

玉恩是一位非常热爱华文的同学。她从小学二年级起就一直希望在三年级时能学习高级华文，因此我让她和哥哥一起上糖果树课程。感谢老师们帮助玉恩更深入地了解华文，并让她顺利学习到她想要的高级华文。宁恩 和哥哥一样是非常不喜欢华文的。她连一个字都不肯认识。在这种情况下我们也让她上了糖果树。在老师们的帮助下取得了很大的进步，这真是令人感动。她从一开始不愿意认字，到现在不仅能认字，还能够用华语进行沟通，证明了老师们的耐心和坚持是多么重要。孩子的成长离不开家庭和教育的支持，你们的坚持和老师们的努力一起成就了宁恩的进步。这份感谢也是非常值得的，真心为宁恩感到高兴！

我的女儿在糖果树华文学校学习后，进步让我特别开心。一开始，她连笔都拿不稳，写出来的华文字乱七八糟，笔画东倒西歪，我心里挺发愁的。但学校的老师真厉害，特别有耐心，一步步教她怎么拿笔、怎么写好每一个字。现在，她写的字漂亮多了，线条顺畅，字形也好看，每次看她的作业都觉得挺骄傲的。不光字进步了，她对华文也越来越喜欢，有时候还会跑来给我念课文听，声音清脆又认真。看到她从以前的“不会写”变成现在的“写得好”，我特别感谢老师的努力和用心，真的是帮了我们家大忙！

My daughter was sent to Candy Tree at a stage when she was failing her 听写 (spelling) and was losing interest in the language. With 刘老师’s encouragement, guidance and suggestions, her interest in Chinese finally maintained, and she surprised us by scoring unexpectedly well for her PSLE! Thank you 刘老师! Recommended by a friend to Liu laoshi for my p3 daughter. My daughter ranted that there was a lot of homework and spelling initially but afterwards, she enjoyed learning Chinese and started using more Chinese to converse in her daily life. Her vocabulary
range improved. Liu laoshi and Lee laoshi are passionate and patience in teaching and they are dedicated to cultivate interest in learning Chinese.

The teachers are very patience, caring and helpful. I enjoy the lessons I had at here, the notes and materials are also very helpful and I have improve a lot in Chinese. Thus, I have gotten an A1 for my O level Chinese. Thank you 刘老师.

I send my daughter into Candy Tree when her result was barely passing. After a year of coaching by Candy Tree teachers, she has managed to get good grade which I am very pleased with. Overall a very conducive environment for kids to learn in. Teachers were caring and able to instill the knowledge to my child, now she enjoys going to tuition in Candy Tree so much.

I highly recommend Candy Tree Tutorial Center. The teaching is diversified from oral examinations, compositions to comprehension questions and answers. I send my two daughters to candy tree after being recommended by my friend who send her son to the tuition center. The teachers are very experienced teachers and their curriculum is good. Most importantly I feel that the prices are reasonably for ex MOE tutors. The teachers also update us on the kids performance . My daughters have seen improvement in their Chinese language. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good place to send your kids for Chinese tuition.

Very helpful tuition centre, with patient and understanding teachers that utilise different methods of teaching to aid students in their learning. Thanks to Teacher Liu, I was able to secure an A1 for my mid-year O level examinations.

I was struggling to get my child to speak Mandarin and decided to look for help at the start of the year. As I was looking for options near my place, I came across this tuition centre and reached out. Liu Laoshi responded to my inquiry very quickly, which was a great start! What I appreciate about this centre is that they don’t try to teach faster than the school curriculum. Instead, they match the school’s pace and focus on reinforcing what my child is learning in school, ensuring a strong foundation before moving on to the next topic. This has made a huge difference. My child is now more confident and comfortable with Mandarin. Highly recommend!

I’m extremely grateful to Liu Lao Shi for her dedication and hard work in helping my sons improve their Chinese. Her teaching has made a noticeable difference in their language skills. The materials she uses are excellent, covering a wide range of areas such as vocabulary, composition, oral practice, and comprehension. When my younger son first started, he could only say “I don’t know” (我不知道), but after just 10 months of her guidance, he has made incredible progress and now speaks many more Chinese words with confidence. Liu Lao Shi goes above and beyond to support her students, encouraging them and helping to build their confidence. I’m truly thankful for her positive impact on my children’s language learning journey. As my elder son will be in P6 next year, I only wish we had discovered Liu Lao Shi’s teaching earlier. However, it’s never too late, and I’m so thankful that my sons have had the opportunity to learn from her.

My boys, one is P4 and one is P2 this year, had been having Chinese tuition since they were 5 years old. Throughout the years, I didn’t see any improvement in their Chinese. I was shocked when my P4 boy showed me his Chinese Composition result when he was in P3. My neighbour introduced me Candy Tree Language Centre. I decided to give it a try. I enrolled them to Candy Tree Language Centre in beginning of 2022. The P4 boy is taught by Mr Lee and the P2 boy is taught by Ms Liu. After 3-4 months of learning at Candy Tree, I can see improvements in Chinese especially the elder boy. His composition has been improved from 7-8 marks in P3 to 13 marks in his P4 SA2. Not only composition, his Paper 2 result has been improved as well.

The teaches were ex-MOE teaches and hence, they are very familiar with the syllabus. They provide tips and techniques on how the students could earn points in the exams. The worksheets that are provided by the teaches are well-prepared and they give them test/ spellings almost every week. They also provide homework for the students to do at home to enhance the learnings. I am happy that I have made a right choice to send my kids to Candy Tree. 2 years had passed and now my elder son is P6 and my younger son is P4. He joined an extra higher mother tongue class after preliminary examinations and improved for a PA to a Distinction! He also got AL2 for Chinese. Thank you candy tree!!!!

Ms Liu and Mr Lee are both very caring and patience teacher that was very thorough and took careful measures in helping my p6 girl to grasp her Chinese foundation concept that she had forgotten. Both of them made her really think about how to come up with the answer.I liked how they were straight forward and to the point.Great tutor that helped my girl to be less careless in answering the questions. Thank you Ms Liu and Mr Lee!

My Sec 3 girl has been with this center for a year! It’s amazing how much she has learned and improved! From failing in Secondary 2 to achieving 78 marks in her year-end results this year! I really appreciate all the encouragement and help that 李老师 has given her. We couldn’t have done it without this support!

My child has never like Chinese as a subject. Enrolling him into Candy Tree is merely a way to encourage him to expose more to the language and creating more opportunities for him to speak and write more. I am grateful for the teachers’ dedication and passion in the language which greatly helps in creating the perfect learning environment for my son. We decided to sign up with Candy Tree due to the proximity in location initially but very glad that we made the right choice a year ago! My child used to be very weak in Chinese as we were quite late in introducing tuition/enrichment programs to him. I recall my comments to 刘老师 back then about him were that he disliked conversing in Mandarin, and had difficulty in word recognition. A year on, I noticed that he can read more words and has less resistance to learning Chinese in general. We were pleasantly surprised with his recent Year End results too, given that he used to fail/borderline pass his P2 papers. Communicating with the teachers here (刘老师，李老师) had been a breeze and I can truly feel their patience and sincerity in wanting my boy to be better, progressing at his own pace. It is very thoughtful of them to organise Children’s Day/Graduation party with many activities for their students to have fun and even extended invites to their siblings! Appreciate that Candy Tree offers trial class and referral program this year so parents can enjoy savings while signing up fellow siblings. We learned it is better to instill habits and build up the child’s confidence in learning Chinese early on.

My son has been with this tuition center for four years and his Chinese has improved drastically since then. Classes are also small in size so that the teachers can cater to all students (usually 3-6 students per class; or less). For those who require extra resources,
this tuition centre provides a lot upon the request of their students such as extra worksheets, 词语单, 成语单, answering techniques etc. Teachers here are also very warm and friendly, would definitely recommend parents/students to sign up for their
lessons if they are trying to catch up with school curriculum.

We join Candy Tree middle of the school year (2024) because our children need help on oral, and for my older child, coping HCL exams for the first time in P5. Both gained confidence in oral conversations and we observed improvement in both Paper 1 and 2.
Outside of curriculums, though Chinese is not their favourite subject, both Li Laoshi and Liu Laoshi manage to engage my children. My P5 tells us she wants to continue HCL, giving a chance/go on the subject in PSLE. Other than seeing improvement in
results, it’s very important that the teachers are able to connect and make sure our children do not resist Chinese.

Ms Liu has been my Chinese and Higher Chinese teacher from Secondary 3 to 4. She has helped me in my O level Chinese and higher Chinese examinations. Her method in teaching is clear and she is also quick to catch on my mistakes to help me improve. She also provides a vast amount of resources and exercises for us to practice with. I went from failing my compositions and scraping a bare pass in comprehension to ultimately attaining an A1 for Chinese and A2 for HCL respectively. She also teaches with a lot of sincerity, by providing additional lessons to help during that crucial period and also having extra consultations with her. Candy Tree has definitely helped improve me Chinese!

I took Teacher Liu’s class and my grades improved. I progressed from c6 to a2. Her class aroused my interest and taught me a lot of o level question-answering skill.

Teacher Liu is very patient and will keep in touch with parents after class to follow up on their children’s progress and their learning attitude and status in school. The children have made great progress after taking Teacher Liu’s class. Highly recommend Candy Tree to parents, 5 stars to Teacher Liu.
