Ms. Law (刘老师) is from Kuching, Sarawak, and has received Chinese education from a young age, which laid a solid foundation for her language skills. She pursued her studies at the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), where she majored in Chinese Language and Literature and also completed an education program. Ms. Law has experience teaching at a secondary school in Taiwan before becoming a qualified Chinese teacher with the Singapore Ministry of Education in 2006. In 2011, she was appointed Head of the Chinese Department, where she focused on enhancing teaching quality and student performance. After leaving the Ministry in 2015 to travel the world, she returned to teaching in 2017, building strong relationships with parents through her passion, patience, and effective communication.
In 2018, Ms. Law founded Liu Laoshi’s Chinese Classroom and later established Candy Tree Chinese Language Centre in 2020. Known for her ability to connect with parents, Ms. Law provides guidance and support to ensure students excel academically and develop strong values. She quickly adapted to online teaching during the pandemic, allowing her students to continue thriving. Today, Ms. Law remains committed to providing high-quality Chinese education at Candy Tree, fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment for all students.
